Before the launch of Minecraft's Xbox One and PS4 versions

Since the Xbox One edition of Minecraft pe skins was first announced recently, fans have questioned whether or not they can import their current world saves from Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition to the new console.  However, gamers have finally been told that they will indeed manage to fold or call their Xbox 360 saves after Microsoft's Phil Spencer confirmed on April 24 that the Xbox one edition in the sandbox creation title will feature the power for fans to import their Xbox 360 Minecraft worlds to the new generation console.

Before the launch of Minecraft's Xbox One and PS4 versions, 4J Studios expressed their need to keep all of the various editions with the game on the same update schedule just like the things they currently do on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  The developer seems to be sticking with that plan because they have now says the very first cross-generational update is on its way soon.
